Land Rover models have the Land Rover InControl® system, which is an infotainment technology suite that helps drivers stay connected. There are three InControl touchscreen options for each Land Rover model, though it’s important to note that newer models come standard with Touch Pro or higher:

• InControl Touch™ — 8-inch high-resolution touchscreen infotainment display
• Touch Pro™ — 10-inch high-resolution touchscreen infotainment display
• Touch Pro™ Duo — Touch Pro™ 10-inch display paired with a second display above the gearshift

How Does Land Rover InControl® Work?

With InControl® touchscreen, you can customize your infotainment experience and set new driver-specific settings. In addition to easy access to your touchscreen apps for the radio and climate control, you can also monitor your performance, off-roading tech, and much more!

Below are some key InControl® capabilities that go above and beyond normal vehicle operations:

• InControl Protect™ — Contact Optimized Land Rover Assistance in the event of mechanical issues, so technicians can dispatchRoadside Assistance, or automatically get in touch with SOS Emergency Call services in the event of a collision.
• InControl Remote™ — Interact with your vehicle from anywhere in the world with the Remote app, including remote climate control, remote lock/unlock and engine start, stolen vehicle locator, fuel monitoring, and maintenance alerts.
• InControl Apps™ — After downloading InControl Apps™, seamlessly integrate vehicle-optimized mobile apps on your vehicle’s touchscreen via USB media port, and access music, navigation, calendars, and more!
• InControl Wi-Fi™ — Wi-Fi Hotspot via AT&T for in-vehicle internet access on up to eight devices at once. Wi-Fi hardware is fitted to the vehicle with a mobile SIM card and 3 months or 3GB of data for the trial period.
• Land Rover Connected Navigation — This feature is only available with Touch Pro™ or Touch Pro™ Duo, and it includes: Real Time Traffic Flow, Route Planner App door-to-door routing, Online search, Satellite View and Street View, and Live Apps.

Which Models Offer Land Rover InControl®?

Luckily, InControl® technology is standard on all new Land Rover models. With older Land Rover models, you can upgrade the InControl® system if you’d like. When getting ready to purchase a new Land Rover, be sure to ask about the InControl® Apps capability and more as this feature can only be fitted at the factory.
