What Apps Can I Use with Land Rover InControl® Apps™?

When you connect your compatible Android or Apple smartphone to your Land Rover, you can enjoy vehicle-approved apps through the infotainment screen in your car. This allows you to stay connected and entertained on even the long drives out of Corona and Los Angeles. Some of the apps you can access through the Land Rover InControl® Apps™ system include:

How Do I Set Up Land Rover InControl® Apps™?

Installing Land Rover InControl® Apps™ on Your Compatible Smartphone:

1. Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your phone. Use the search bar to find the Land Rover InControl® Apps™ application.
2. Select the app, download it, and install it.
3. Find the new Land Rover InControl® Apps™ icon on your smartphone, and select it.
4. Follow the Auto Quick Start Guide to complete the setup.

Connecting Your Smartphone to Your Vehicle:

1. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone. Find your Land Rover model in the compatible devices menu and connect.
2. Using the USB cord that came with your smartphone (not the charger), plug your phone into the dedicated InControl® Apps™ USB port.
3. Open the Land Rover InControl® Apps™ application on your phone if it isn’t already running.
4. You’ll be prompted to accept certain permissions if you’re using an Android. Select “Always Allow” for a consistent connection.
5. Leaving your phone unlocked, select InControl Apps on your Land Rover touchscreen.
6. Keep your phone unlocked and select the InControl® Apps™ icon on your Land Rover infotainment screen. Select “View” to use the apps without audio or “View and Listen” to use apps with audio.

If you’d like to access third-party apps in your Land Rover, there is an additional setup process. Until this setup process is complete for each app, the icon will remain greyed out on your infotainment screen:

1. Select one of the third-party apps greyed out on your infotainment screen. Read the instructions and press “Start.”
2. A pop-up will appear on your smartphone. Hit “Approve.”
3. Press the home button on your infotainment screen.
4. Another pop-up will appear on your phone screen. Hit “Approve.”
5. Repeat this process for all third-party apps until each has been unlocked in your Land Rover infotainment system.
